OUR SERVICE
Stop Child Abuse (SCA) is a non-governmental organization that educates children and adults about child abuse. The objective is to promote the rights and development of children.
Awareness on Child Abuse
Awareness on:
- Protection and children rights
- SGBV and GBV
- Early marriage
- Education without violence
- Equally right to education
- Health reproductive, hygiene, sexuality
- Good cohabitation and peace building
- Women rights
- No discrimination and inclusion (disable, albinos, pygmies
- protecting environment
Legal Aid
As a non-governmental organization, we also provide legal aid to children illegally attacked in court. SCA helps abused children find a legal assistant to represent them in court. Our legal aid services include legal advice, assistance and representation, provided free of charge, to people without sufficient means. This assistance and legal advocacy is offered to children of all ages without any discrimination.
Social Assistance to displaced children
With social assistance, SCA offers different types of support to children affected by war (displaced and refugees), such as children with disabilities, orphans and street children.
School equipment support
With limited financial capacities, SCA manages to offer schools:
.school equipment (chairs, blackboard, desk, tablets, etc.)
.Strengthen teachers in terms of non-violence towards students.
.We also promote girls’ education by supporting and offering a little support
Family Reconciliation and Health Reproductive
SCA :
.Offers a reconciliation office to divorcing marriages for family reunification and thus protects children. We also help children get treatment, protection and other care from their parents.
.SCA seeks to achieve reconciliation between parents and children, reunify families and maintain and strengthen family unity. Services include legal advice and assistance.
.Reproductive health: Here, SCA offers reproductive health sessions to young people aged 15 to 30 and their parents. The aim is to raise awareness about self-control, unwanted marriages and pregnancies.
Financial Support and skills
SCA empowers women with business skills, VSLAs and microcredits.
The objective is to reduce poverty among women and the children they care for (widows, single mothers, marginalized and abandoned women).
Training of teachers in no violence at school(pedagogy without violence)
SCA is empowering teachers in new pedagogy without violence to promote good education.
